    A county public weigher may operate in the county for which the public weigher intends to operate. To obtain a Public Weigher license, the applicant must submit application and appropriate license fees. A bond for each county public weigher must be filed with the county clerk’s office of the county in which the public weigher intends to operate. County weigher licenses are valid for a period of two years.
